Inbound links that point to a domain: definition

Written by Sidra Condron

These are the inbound links that come from other pages and link to the domain that you searched. Also known as “backlinks” they help Google recognize a domain as an authority when other pages point to it. We removed duplicate links from the same page (where there are multiple links on a page) and show only linking pages that Google has indexed.
